Year 4 took part in a church service today. Check out the 'Church Events' page!
Yesterday, all the children in year 4 helped to fill shoeboxes with the gifts that were collected throughout the school. Miss Ward, Rev. Mulryne and some friends of the church came to our school and helped the children create gift boxes that will be given to less fortunate children.

Today, both year 4 classes visited St John's church to learn more about Christian symbols. Rev. Mulryne and Miss Ward have put together a wonderful lesson for the two classes. The year group was split into 3 groups. Each group worked at a different station and with different adults teaching them. In one group we learned about baptisms and in another about communion, for example. We also searched the church for symbols and we were taught about what they mean.

Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th November, we have OFSTED on site inspecting all areas of the school. If you haven’t already done so, we would really appreciate if you could log on to the Parent View website www.parentview.ofsted.gov.uk and complete the 12 questions about the school, before Wednesday lunchtime. In addition, Inspectors may wish to speak with random parents, so you may be approached by one of them over the next 2 days. We appreciate your support in this.
